My process is easy: I will shoot your entire wedding day, corporate event, or spend an afternoon with your family for a flat fee. I do not provide prints, but rather will give you a disc containing hi-res digital images of your shoot. You can use these images to make as many prints as you want! That way, you are not locked into a specific package before you even see your images, and can continue to make prints for years to come. I can recommend photo labs and/or websites to use to print your images. If you are interested in having me design and print your album for you, I would be happy to do so for an additional fee.
For family photography: I prefer to follow your family in an activity that you all enjoy, such as a day at the beach, a park, visiting a farm, or just hanging out in your own backyard. You can dress up or dress down, it’s up to you! As long as you’re comfortable and you and your family are enjoying each other, the images will speak for themselves.
For wedding photography: I shoot a combination of posed and photojournalistic style portraits. During receptions, I switch to a zoom lens that allows me to capture people up-close in special moments, but without my interference.
For corporate photography: I can create casual, yet professional headshots of your staff for your website, as well as provide coverage of special events such as an open house, holiday party or charity golf tournament.
Location: I live in the Washington, D.C. area, but also have occasion to travel to southeastern Virginia, Buffalo/Rochester, NY; Charlotte, NC; and Denmark on a regular basis, so I can be booked for shoots in the those locations as well. Of course, I can go just about anywhere if travel fees are paid.
